Design & Brand

Screens that make actions and status clear.

Interface design turns an agreed journey into screens people can use. VT LAB defines layout, information hierarchy and interaction states around the actual task. The work covers what people see when everything works and what they need when input is missing, work is pending or an action fails.

01

Put the next action in context

Organise each screen around the information needed to make a decision. Labels, controls and visual emphasis should explain what can be done without relying on decoration. The agreed brand direction informs presentation, while the product’s business rules determine available actions and the meaning of each status.

02

Design the states between success and failure

Forms need validation, readable guidance and a clear completion state. Loading, empty, disabled and error states deserve specific designs. Accessibility and smaller screens are considered in the agreed scope. A visual design cannot by itself prove that permissions, saved records or server-side actions work correctly.

03

Bring the journey and screen requirements

Share the user task, existing brand assets, representative content and the rules behind each action. We define the screen set and review its states with you. Journey research, interactive prototypes, reusable design systems and software implementation have their own deliverables and are included only where agreed.
