Connected Systems

Connect property operations without competing booking records.

A property management system holds information other teams may need to deliver a service. VT LAB assesses PMS connections around a defined operational handoff. The named platform, vendor support and permissions determine what can be exchanged; compatibility with every property system is not assumed.

01

Identify the service handoff

Decide which team needs which booking or guest context and why. An operational view may need current reservation status without gaining authority to change it. Separate a read-only use from an update to the booking, and identify the system responsible for the original record and each shared field.

02

Respect the property system’s boundaries

Assess supported interfaces, data permissions and restrictions before choosing a connection. Define how changed or cancelled reservations should be reflected and how delayed information is shown. A receiving tool must not turn an unconfirmed request into a booking or overwrite an authoritative record through an ambiguous match.

03

Bring your platform and a service scenario

Share the PMS name, available documentation, safe sample records and the staff process that needs improvement. Include exceptions and the person who resolves them. We confirm feasibility and scope the exchange; payment, channel management and other vendors require their own assessment when relevant.
