Automation & AI

Automate stable steps with visible completion.

Automation works best when the task is stable and the expected result is clear. VT LAB scopes repeatable workflows around a trigger, the information required and an accountable owner. A rule may be enough; AI is considered only where its value can be assessed against real examples.

01

Choose the step worth automating

Routing a request, creating a task or preparing a document can be candidates when the business rules are established. Map the current sequence and identify what starts the work. Agree which inputs are required and what should happen when they are missing, late or inconsistent.

02

Keep confirmation and recovery in the flow

Define the actions allowed, the evidence of completion and where approval is required. An unavailable connection or failed action must leave a visible next step. Wider data access and external actions are separately authorised; a workflow should not gain authority simply because it can technically perform an operation.

03

Bring examples of normal and failed work

Share a repeated task, approved inputs, expected outputs and common exceptions. Name the person who takes over when the flow stops. We assess feasibility, choose rules or bounded AI where appropriate and verify success and recovery paths before expanding to further tasks.

Which stable task repeats every day?

Describe its trigger, required information, expected result and the person responsible for exceptions.
